Yes I could do that and be referred to the Honeywell dealer that the end user already booted from their site for poor performance or I can tell the end user that the system Honeywell sold them is locked down and they are not able to select the service provider that performs to their expectations. It's so ironic that Honeywell owns Tridium and locks Webs-Ax down with licenses so nobody else can work on the 'open' system Honeywell markets. Of course the end user can pay extra to have a open Webs license and extra for ILC Spyders etc. Let's see pay Honeywell more to provide open systems when they market it as already being open hmm.I love educating end users on what they really were sold.

Honeywell doesn't charge ANY extra for a Webs open license. And the spyder ILC are needed only when using the SpyderTool on a JACE other than Webs. Are you a Tridium AX certified contractor? The ASD in my area does charge to re-license one to open.
I do realize the ILC are only needed when using a non Honeywell JACE. I'll have some non ILC available soon if you need some:PYes they probably will to re-license it as open. Fluke 8010 manual. However, this problem falls back to the original contractor not Honeywell. We are a Honeywell contractor and we only buy all of our Jaces with the open license. There are at least 5 other contractors in our area that could come in and work on a system we put in if that became the customers desire. Quick Navigation.
